Information on the processing of your personal data

This policy, in compliance with the national and European data protection legislation [General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679)], informs you about how our Company, acting as a Data Controller[1], collects and processes your personal data[2].

When you contact us via email, we collect from you the email address, as well as any information you choose to include in your emails to us.

Furthermore, in case you choose to subscribe to our Newsletter, we also collect your email address and your IP address.

We use your aforementioned personal data in order to contact you and respond to your requests. By sending us your information via email, you consent to such use; your consent is the legal basis for this processing.

Furthermore, if you have chosen to subscribe to our Newsletter, we will also use your email address to send you our Newsletters in order to inform you about our products and activities. For this processing also, the legal basis is your consent, which you give by subscribing to our Newsletter, i.e. registering at our Newsletter recipient list. You may withdraw your consent at any time and remove yourself from this recipient list, by clicking on the link contained in every Newsletter email or by sending a pertinent request by email at info[a]tragos.gr.

Your personal data may be transmitted to third persons who act on our behalf as Processors[3], such as our IT consultants, our hosting provider, our Website administrator, exclusively for the purpose of their providing their services to us.

Other than them, we will not disclose your personal data to any third party.

With regards to your personal data you have the rights provided in articles 15 to 18, 20 and 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation ΕU 2016/679, hereinafter “GDPR”). More specifically, you have the right to:

  • access, i.e. the right to know whether your personal data are being or have been processed and to receive information on your personal data and in particular on the categories thereof, their source, the purposes of the processing and the recipients (or the categories of recipients) to whom they have been or will be disclosed, the logic involved in automated processing, where applicable, the time period for which they will be stored or the criteria used to determine that period, as well as on your pertinent rights which are mentioned herein (article 15 of GDPR).
  • rectification of inaccurate personal data, or completion of any incomplete personal data (article 16 of GDPR).
  • erasure – “the right to be forgotten”, if any of the cases of article 17 of GDPR applies (e.g. if the processing of your data is no longer necessary, if you have withdrawn your consent, if your data has been unlawfully processed).
  • restriction of processing, if any of the cases of article 18 of GDPR applies (e.g. if the accuracy of your data is contested, if the processing is unlawful, if your personal information is no longer necessary for the purpose of processing).
  • data portability, i.e. the right to request and receive from us a copy of all of your personal data in a commonly used and readable format, as well as to request the transmission thereof to another controller, where technically feasible (article 20 GDPR).
  • object to the processing, under the conditions of article 21 of GDPR (e.g to any processing of your personal information on the basis of our legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes).
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.

Furthermore, if you consider that any of your rights has been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (For Greece, Hellenic Data Protection Authority – www.dpa.gr).
