With great joy—and perhaps a bit of excitement—we observed during our visit to the olive groves on June 17th, 2025, that the majority, maybe 60–70%, of the trees under our Aegis are bearing fruit very satisfactorily! The remaining trees are also fruiting, but to a lesser extent. It seems the early summer heatwaves damaged the blooms of the trees that flowered later.
Nonetheless, the overall condition of the trees is excellent! Besides the favorable weather, it’s clear that Elton’s good care played a significant role. We believe that the timing of the pruning was particularly important: having completed pruning in the autumn, the trees were able to take advantage of the first rains to “heal their wounds” and the following ones to fuel their growth and spring flowering.
