Out into the Fields!

Finally the nets are full!

On Sunday, February 15th, 2026, our “Out to the Fields” event took place!

Its great success lay not only in the gratifying turnout, but above all in the warm atmosphere that emerged and the new connections that were formed.

We began with a walk through the burnt olive grove at “Bogdani,” where we observed the remarkable recovery of the trees and spoke about the resilience and unique nature of the olive tree. We then continued to the beautiful “Monolos” grove, where we worked together caring for the trees, enriching the soil with fragrant organic fertilizer, courtesy of our absolute superstar: the hen (see also our photo contest “Summer 2025 – Ode to the Hen”).

Impressions from the Harvest Days

Actionrestexcursions… The “Harvest Days” had it all!

While our friends and guests engaged in honest agricultural work, a pot of traditional bean soup was slowly simmering nearby in the “Pot of Tragos.” We enjoyed it with rustic country bread, authentic feta cheese, olives from our own groves, and of course our new-harvest “TRAGOS” olive oil. And since good work calls for good wine, our friend and winemaker Theodoros Kontogiannis generously provided several bottles of his excellent wines.

We would like to warmly thank our friends and guests Athina, Dimitris, Dorothea, Jacques, Ruxandra, Stella and Florin, also on behalf of our olive trees (which may have no mouth, yet still have much to say), for their wonderful company and care. We hope they had a beautiful day and look forward to welcoming them again at one of our future events.

Special thanks also go to the producer of “TRAGOS,” Elton Berdufi, who once again proved that he is just as talented a cook as he is a cultivator. Without his contribution, these gatherings would not be possible.

Our next appointment: in Spring!
