Following the legendary success of our last year\u2019s photography contest, we warmly invite you, professional and amateur photographers, to participate in this year\u2019s photography contest: \u201cOde to the Hen!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>

Surely no other domesticated animal is as important as the hen. Unassuming, resilient, grateful. The immense value of her \u201cfruit\u201d \u2014 the egg \u2014 is deeply rooted in the consciousness of our species. How many have survived because of it during times of war and famine? And when she grows old and no longer lays, she still provides her delicious and nourishing soup.<\/p>

And yet, no one has ever sung the praises of the hen! She has not inspired our poets or storytellers. She doesn\u2019t take center stage in our folk songs or fairy tales. Nor have our painters or sculptors immortalized her! Even our ancient ancestors, who left nothing unremarked, did not give her particular attention!<\/p>

Because injustice remains injustice as long as it is tolerated, we have decided to dedicate this year\u2019s summer photography contest to this unsung heroine \u2014 this Cinderella of rural life, this humble super-star: the hen!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1. The present photography contest \u201cPhoto Beauty Contest: Ode to the Hen! \u2013 SUMMER 2025\u00bb (hereinafter: \u00abContest\u00bb) with duration from 21.6.2025 until 21.9.2025 is conducted by the company \u201cTRAGOS S.A.\u201d\u00a0 (Comm. Registry No.: 146721901000) \u2013 www.tragos.gr<\/p>

2. The Contest is open to professional and amateur photographers who are of 18 years of age or older.<\/p>

3. Participation in the Contest is free of charge.<\/p>

4. Participating in the Contest requires the unconditional acceptance of its present terms. To this end participants must with the submission of their photograph as provided under 5 hereof also submit a copy of the present terms.<\/p>

5. Each photographer may participate in the Contest with one (1) photograph. To validly participate in the Contest, each participant must send until 21.9.2025 his photograph in electronic file [acceptable file types: .jpeg \u03ae .png \/ ideal analysis: 72dpi \/ ideal size: 1920 x 1080pixel], along with a copy of the present terms (to be found here<\/u><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 via email at info@tragos.gr<\/a>, mentioning in their message their full name and the location where the photograph was taken, e.g.: Tragakis-Nikos-Attiki-Legraina.<\/p>

6. The processing of the participants\u2019 personal data (full name, email address) submitted to our company with the aforementioned email of their participation, is necessary for the purpose of conducting the Contest (indicatively, to contact the participants, to associate the submitted photographs with the participants, to publish the photograph and the winner\u2019s name on the website of the company according to the terms of the Contest). By submitting their participation as above, the participant certifies that they have read and accept the data protection policy of our company, published at https:\/\/tragos.gr\/en\/data-protection-policy\/<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

7. Our company intends to inform the public about the Contest also over Facebook. As required by Facebook\u2019s terms of use (https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/policies_center\/pages_groups_events<\/a>) each participant (a) fully releases and holds Meta harmless from liability, and (b) acknowledges that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta.<\/p>

8. For data protection purposes, it is prohibited to submit photographs featuring people. Photographs featuring people will not be accepted into the Contest and will be deleted.<\/p>

9. By submitting their photograph, each participant a) certifies that the submitted photograph is exclusively their own work and that they own all intellectual property rights on the photograph, and b) grants to our company \u201cTRAGOS S.A.\u201d, without compensation, the non-exclusive right of indefinite duration to publish the photograph \u2013 always with the mention of the photographer\u2019s name- on its website (www.tragos.gr<\/a>). It is clarified that photographs produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence are not considered as \u201cexclusive work\u201d of the photographer and will not be accepted to the Contest.<\/p>

10. The photographs will be assessed based on their originality and general aesthetic. The decision of our company on the winner is final and irrevocable and does not require justification.<\/p>

11. The results of the Contest will be posted until the 10.10.2025 on the website of our company www.tragos.gr<\/a> and on Facebook (https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=61561866487157<\/a>).<\/p>

12. \u039fne (1) photograph will be awarded. The award will be a three nights stay for two persons (double room) with breakfast in the guesthouse \u201cMusafir Ontas\u201d, Kapesovo, Zagori. The overnight stays must take place within seven (7) months from the announcement of the Contest results, after contacting directly the guesthouse \u201cMusafir Ontas\u201d to confirm availability. If the winner intends to have his overnight stays during public holidays, he should proceed to his arrangements in a timely fashion.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
