The olive oil \u201cTRAGOS\u201d [pron. \u201eTRAG(h)OS\u201c] is made from olives of the \u201cManaki\u201d-variety from groves located in the area of Ancient Corinth. Through early harvesting (mid\/end October) and immediate pressing, we achieve the production of an aromatic and fruity oil.<\/p>

Manaki has \u201cdeep roots\u201d in the region of Corinth and its cultivation is widespread there; hence this variety is also popularly known as the \u201cCorinthian\u201d.<\/p>

The<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>trees<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>for<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>production<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>oil<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>for<\/span>\u00a0\u201cTRAGOS<\/span>\u201d\u00a0are<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>cultivated <\/span>under<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0\u201cAegis<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Tragos<\/span>\u201d<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>

\u03a4he olives for \u201cTRAGOS\u201d come from \u201carid\u201d, i.e. not irrigated, groves of \u201cold (sparse) planting\u201d, so trees need not compete for moisture and nutrients. The groves for the oil \u201cTRAGOS\u201d have been made available to the project by the people involved in it. They are cultivated by Elton Berdufi with maximum respect for the trees and their environment.<\/p>
